Just before our wedding, I wanted to do something a little different so I embarked on a short overnight backpacking trip in Algonquin. The trip was short because we had a lot to do for our DIY wedding! I believe it was only about 5km to where I camped on the north shore of Maple Leaf Lake. The weather was fantastic. 1 person set up camp on the next site but I didn't see too many other people. On the way back out the next day, I stopped and put my pack and hiking poles on the same rock Sarah and I stopped at on our first backpacking trip. That reminds me, I should find those pics and put them up some day...
